FIELD: jewelry industry. SUBSTANCE: crystals of citrin are prepared at hydrothermal conditions from aqueous solution of potassium carbonate. The process is carried out in the presence of ions of ferrum, lithium nitrate and soluble compound of $$$, their quantity being 0.2-0.5 g/l. Synthesis is carried out at 300-350 C and at pressure 400-1500 atm. Thus prepared crystals have reddish tone. EFFECT: improves quality of desired product. 2 cl, 1 tbl
