FIELD: medicine, pulmonology, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: criteria of latent blood circulation decompensation are established for patients affected with chronic pulmonary heart by using echodoppler cardiographic methods, according to which systolic and diastolic functions of right ventricle are analyzed, blood flow in pulmonary artery is evaluated with reference to systolic pressure in pulmonary artery and to blood flow velocity in hepatic veins. Proposed diagnostic method makes it possible to detect latent heart decompensation in increased final-diastolic and final-systolic volumes of right ventricle by 25-30%, reduced blood flow velocity by 16-20% during rapid early filling phase of right ventricle, lower peak velocities of systolic and diastolic flows by 25-35% in hepatic veins as compared to normal parameters. EFFECT: early diagnostics of latent heart decompensation possible in patients affected with chronic pulmonary heart.
