FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to therapy, neurology, pulmonology, and can be used in the diagnosis of early signs of cerebral circulatory insufficiency in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). To do this, the patient's age (years), smoking index (SI), oxygen partial pressure of arterialized blood (pO2), forced expiratory volume per second (FEV1), hemoglobin level (Hb) in a clinical blood test are determined. After that, the regression equation is solved according to the formula: cerebrovascular insufficiency CVI (points) = 105.7 + 0.12 × age (years) − 0.05 × SI (pack/year) − 0.77 × pO2 (mm Hg) + 0.16 × FEV1 (% of due) + 0.04 × Hb (g/l), where NMC is an indicator of cerebrovascular insufficiency, the numerical value of which is 70 or more points makes it possible to diagnose the presence of signs of cerebral circulation insufficiency, less than 70 points - the absence of signs of NMC.
EFFECT: method provides a reliable diagnosis of cerebral blood flow disorders in this category of patients, without using additional diagnostic methods, due to the use in the equation of parameters reflecting the pathogenesis of systemic manifestations of COPD from reducing bronchial patency to hypoxemia.
