FIELD: pulmonology and cardiology. SUBSTANCE: lung patients undergo two-dimensional echo-cardiography investigation. For that, left ventricle release fraction is first determined and electrocardiographic examination involving record of rhythmograms in any lead is then performed followed by determining parameters of rhythmograms thus obtained. Afterwards, coefficient of compensatory possibilities of left ventricle myocardium (L) is computed with the aid of mathematical formula. Presence or intensity of cardiac insufficiency in patients with different pulmonary diseases is determined from coefficient L. EFFECT: increased accuracy of differential diagnostics of degree of cardiac insufficiency intensity in patients with tuberculosis and other nonspecific pulmonary diseases. 6 ex
