FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves moving the patella by means of Ilizarov apparatus until soft fold is formed along the internal surface of the articulation. Longitudinal parapatellary flap is cut and its end is brought sequentially under the tendon of the musculus quadriceps femoris and above it, fixing the patella with the so formed loop in the position of repair. Then the soft tissue defect is stitched retaining articulation mobility in the process of repair. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
