FIELD: electrochemical methods. SUBSTANCE: method includes deposition of metal layer in electrolysis of aqueous solution of metal salt under optimal current density and using an insoluble anode, the current intensity being determined from the following functional dependence: I = I where I is current value at time t. Parameter is chosen taking into account cathode surface value in accordance with upper limit of optimal range of current densities for a given electrolyte composition, while α, b, and DT are chosen, respectively, from the following value ranges: α = 0.1-0.5, b = 0.03-0.09 min-1, and ΔT = 40-80 min. EFFECT: optimized parameters of process. 1 dwg
