FIELD: cleaning of air, flue gases and similar media in various branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: gaseous medium to be cleaned is directed to passage, and is ionized there. Charged admixture particles are attracted by one or several catching surface due to difference in charge conditions. Air is ionized by one or several ionizing electrodes directed towards particle catching surface. Distance between ionizing electrode and particle catching surface, also difference between conditions of catching surface electric charge and charged admixture particles are so adjusted that admixture particles are carried by ionic ray directly towards the surface for settling on it. EFFECT: high efficiency. 8 cl, 8 dwg
