FIELD: charcoal production. SUBSTANCE: wood material is broken down and resultant chargeable stock is dried and pyrolysed by way of directly heating stock with gaseous heat carrier to produce charcoal. The latter is activated by partially burning charcoal and imposing alternating nanocurrent with voltage 0.1-50 V and frequency 33-56 Hz to gaseous activator medium giving rise to heating thereof to 200-400 C.
