FIELD: radioactive preparations. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of indium-113m useful as visualizing component of radiopharmaceutical preparations for medical diagnostics. Method of preparing indium- 113m generator consists in that neutron beam-irradiated tin is dissolved in concentrated hydrochloric acid in presence of an oxidant, obtained tin chloride solution is diluted with water, sterilized (passage through hydrophilized microbiological filter) and passed through preliminarily sterilized sorption column. Column with sorbed mother radionuclide is washed and indium-113m is eluted with dilute HCl solution. Concentration of irradiated tin in solution for sorption is chosen in the range from 0.02 to 0.2 mg/ml, and input in the range 1-5 ml/min. Degree of tin sorption attains 99.99%. Procedure duration lies within the range 60-180 min. EFFECT: simplified process, improved environmental safety, increased tin sorption.
