FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to produce and extract radioactive isotopes for medical purposes. Concept of the invention is as follows: extraction of radioactive tin in condition without carrier from intermetallide Ti-Sb radiated with flux of accelerated charged particles consists in the fact that Ti-Sb is first dissolved in boiling concentrated HCl, then in concentrated HCl with addition of HNO3. Then antimony is extracted with dibutyl ether, and H2O2 is added into remaining water phase, and solution is passed through chromatographic column filled with strong-base anion-exchange resin, which absorbs radioactive tin, and then titanium and radioactive isotopes of indium and scandium are washed off with HCl solution, and radioactive tin in condition without carrier is desorbed from resin by HNO3 solution. Other version of cleaning from titanium consists in extraction of radioactive tin by benzene in the form of iodide. Final cleaning of radioactive tin is carried out by means of chromatography on hydrated silicon dioxide in citrate solution, besides traces of antimony, radioactive isotopes of tellurium and vanadium pass through column, and tin is then washed with mineral acid.

EFFECT: high yield of radioactive tin extraction without carrier from intermetallide Ti-Sb radiated with flux of accelerated charged particles.
