FIELD: isotope separation. SUBSTANCE: mixture of mercury isotopes is irradiated in presence of oxygen and butadiene with mercury lamp light having wavelength corresponding to Hg-199 and 204 isotope emission to produce mixture containing Hg-199, 201, and 204 isotopes. The latter if further irradiated with wavelength corresponding to emission of isotope Hg-198 and isotope Hg-201 is isolated. Nonseparated mixture of isotopes 199 and 204 is irradiated with wavelength corresponding to emission of isotope Hg- 196 and isotope 199 is isolated. Enrichment degree is 96.3-96.4% and output 1.52-1.56 mg/h. EFFECT: improved procedure. 4 dwg, 2 tbl
