FIELD: electrical engineering; high-speed electrical machines. SUBSTANCE: rotor has nonmagnetic shaft 1, alternately and axially magnetized annular permanent magnets 2, nonretentive members 3 provided with radial pole tips 4 and abutting end surfaces of permanent magnets 2 with angular shift through one pole pitch, rings 5 made of high-strength nonmagnetic material and placed on magnets 2, as well as rings 6 in end parts of rotor. Pope tips 7 are attached to rings 5, 6 and to pole tips 4 by means of weld 8. EFFECT: monolithic design and, hence, high mechanical strength of rotor making it useful for high-speed magnetoelectric machines. 4 cl, 2 dwg
