FIELD: biology, experimental medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of complex of platinum with coproporphyrin-III as luminescent probe. This probe exhibits the increased selective accumulation in tumor tissue as compared with that in surrounding normal tissues. Coproporphyrin-III can be easily prepared by microbiological procedure. Complex of platinum with coproporphyrin-III is stable at all pH range, well soluble in aqueous solutions and shows higher luminescence quantum yield. EFFECT: improved method of investigation.
