FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for fluorescent diagnosis of pathological changes in skin and mucous membranes comprising ytterbium complex dipotassium salt of 2,4-dimethoxyhematoporphyrin IX in an amount of 0.05÷0.1 wt %, N-methylglucosamine and glycerin, and a mixture of Cremophor with DMSO at a ratio of 1:18÷20, or Tizol, or a Cremophor and Tizol mixture at a ratio of 1: 8÷10, or Kalgel as a Cremophor-containing gel base.
EFFECT: simplified process of diagnosis at diseased skin and mucous membranes; facilitated treatment monitoring; ability to identify pathological processes occurrence in the places of their localization, which can not be determined visually; significant reduction in the optimal time of pharmaceutical composition accumulation in various tumors to less than 1 hour.
