FIELD: mechanical engineering, accurate pieces machining by flat-grinding machines. SUBSTANCE: method to control flat in-feed grinding machine provides for shifting of piece in respect to working table in direction of motion by value defined according to their relationship and with consideration of grinding disk elastic motions wave phase relatively to working table in previous pass; values of maximum allowed height of waviness on piece surface; amplitudes and wavelength of grinding disk elastic motions. Minimum number of passes is also calculated according to definite relationship. EFFECT: method allows to improve quality of flat in-feed grinding control. 6 dwg
