FIELD: mechanical engineering, fine and finishing grinding of precision workpieces. SUBSTANCE: method contains measuring the grinding time, flexible movements of a workpiece and the grinding wheel, determining and varying relationship between rotation speeds of the grinding wheel and a workpiece during fine and zero feeding process. The denominator of the relationship is determined from a given dependence from available altitude of waviness on the grinding surface and amplitude of flexible movements of the grinding wheel relative to the workpiece. The grinding time is determined and worked off when changed a relationship from a given dependence from denominator amount and rotation speed of the workpiece during black feed. EFFECT: enhanced quality of grinding. 3 dwg
