FIELD: refrigerating engineering; domestic and industrial refrigerators. SUBSTANCE: thermoelectric battery contains thermal elements with hot and cold junctions connected in series, power supply unit and condensers mounted between thermal elements and between thermal elements and power supply unit. Each thermal element is provided with second junction connected to power supply unit in parallel with first junction at opposite location of materials of junction; two diodes are fitted in series relative to junctions in each branch of electric circuit of thermal elements at opposite location of anodes and cathodes. Power supply unit is made in form of AC supply source. Diodes may be fitted at opposite location of anodes and cathodes or identically. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
