FIELD: medical equipment, intended for stimulation of metabolic processes with the aid of impact-wave pulses at acceleration of healing of postoperative wounds, trophic ulcers, bedsores, stimulation of renal activity. SUBSTANCE: stimulation of metabolic processes in tissues consists in application of impact-wave load by pulses of the microsecond range with a compression amplitude within 3 to 20 MPa to the zone of stimulation through the surface of the bioobject. The pulse front tilt is selected within 15 to 60 deg. relative to the time axis in the pressure-time coordinates at semimicrosecond division of the measuring instrument scanning. Impact-wave pulses are applied at a pulse length of 0.6 to 2.0 us at its half-peak; the larger pulse front tilt corresponds to the upper limit of compression amplitude, and the lower magnitude of amplitude corresponds to the higher magnitude of impact-wave pulse duration.
