FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: material contains, wt.-%: alumino- magnesium spinel with magnesia to alumina ratio (28-50):50-72), fraction less 3 mm, 10-70; rolled grains of caked periclase, fraction less 2 mm, 15- 50; disperse periclase, 10-25; graphite, 5-15; carbon binder (in excess of 100%), 1-8. Module of coarseness of periclase is 1.17-2.24. Material is suitable for linings of melting units and metal-working machines. EFFECT: improved quality. 2 cl, 2 tbl
