FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spinel-periclase-carbonic refractory material that is used for lining the most wearing sites of heat metallurgic units. Mass for its making has 42-75 wt.% of granular melted aluminium-magnesium spinel crystallized at eutectic temperature at nonstechiometry by oxygen the fraction (size is less 3 mm), 15-35 wt. % of periclase-containing component as fraction (size 1.0 mm and less 0.063 mm) at mass ratio = (0:100)-(50:50), 4-15% of carbon-containing material as graphite, 4-8% of organic binding agent and 1-5% of antioxidant silicon carbide addition. Siliconized graphite or waste of its production at SiC content 25-50% are used as silicon carbide addition. EFFECT: increased slag-resistance with respect to high-basic slags, decreased oxidizability, increased heat stability. 2 tbl
