FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: cellulose diethylaminoethyl ether of general formula: (C2H5)2NC2H4-OR wherein R is matrix of granular microspherical cellulose which is prepared by dissolving microcrystalline cellulose in aqueous solution of calcium rodanide, dispersing the resulting solution in transformer oil and recovering by treatment of the resulting mixture with hexane followed by washing the recovered product with hexane, acetone and water. The claimed compound is used as sorbent for recovery and purification of enzyme preparations, more particularly for purification of streptokinase.
