FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: device to produce fire-damp has electrolyzer with electrodes which have holes to release gas and to feed electrolyte, pressure vessel to discharge gas and feed electrolyte. Gas release holes in electrodes are located above conduit for discharge of gas and feed of electrolyte. Device has return valve to discharge condensate into pressure vessel and drop catcher with collecting vessel pneumatically coupled to pressure vessel. Drop catcher is connected to the latter through reducing valve and collecting vessel - through return valve. EFFECT: enhanced safety and operational efficiency of device. 4 cl, 1 dwg
