FIELD: testing equipment, testing of air-tightness of multispace articles of spacecraft technology. SUBSTANCE: article is placed into vacuum chamber. Air is evacuated from it to limiting residual pressure in it. Spaces of article are filled in specified sequence with technological gas and pressure in vacuum chamber is measured after filling of each space. Calibrated flow of testing mixture composed of indicating and technological gases is fed into vacuum chamber. Summary pressure in vacuum chamber and change of concentration of indicating gas in vacuum chamber from calibrated flow under summary pressure are measured. Supply of calibrated flow of testing mixture of gases into vacuum chamber is stopped. Technological gas is relieved from spaces of article in reverse sequence. Space of article are filled in specified sequence with testing mixture of gases. After filling of each space with testing mixture of gases pressure in vacuum chamber is changed by supply of flow of technological gas into it by value equal to difference between pressure in vacuum chamber from this space and summary pressure in vacuum chamber and change of concentration of indicating gas in vacuum chamber from given space under this summary pressure is measured. Air-tightness of spaces is estimated by comparison of changes of concentration of indicating gas from each space with changes of concentration of indicating gas from calibrated flow. EFFECT: increased authenticity of method.
