FIELD: instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves putting article to vacuum-chamber, pumping it down, filling chambers of article with gas up to working pressure fraction, which is proportional to content of gas in testing mix of gases, pumping to vacuum chamber weighed flow of testing gas mix, which has indicating and working gases, measuring change of concentration of indication gas in vacuum chamber with respect to weighed flow, finishing supply of weighed flow of testing gas mix to vacuum chamber, additional pumping article chambers with indication gas up to working pressure, measuring change in concentration of indication gas in vacuum chamber after additional pumping, comparison of change in concentration of indication gas in each chamber and change in concentration of indication gas in weighed flow. This results in possibility to judge air-tightness of chambers. EFFECT: increased precision of testing.
