FIELD: mineral concentration, particular, primary treatment of ores containing high-magnetic minerals, for instance, magnetite and titanomagnetite. SUBSTANCE: rough magnetite concentrate is subjected to classification, for instance, fine screening. Obtained fine-grained product is directed for magnetic gravitational classification and production of finished concentrate in form of fine-grained product and coarse-grained tailings. Coarse-grained product of screening is directed for grounding and magnetic separation to obtain finished concentrate and discardable tailings. Depending on composition of initial concentrate and requirements on the quality of final concentrate, coarse-grained screening product prior to grinding is subjected to magnetic gravitational classification to obtain coarse-grained tailings, and coarse-grained product of magnetic gravitational classification of fine-grained screening products after thinning is directed for grinding.
