FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to processing the ore charge of iron ores and can be used at mining and processing plants in the production of high-quality iron ore concentrates. The method for producing high-quality magnetite concentrates includes fine hydraulic screen sizing, wet magnetic separation, classification. An additional operation of fine hydraulic screen sizing is performed. The oversize products of fine hydraulic screen sizing operations are combined, then subjected to a first classification in hydrocyclones, the undersize whereof is additionally ground and sent, together with the overflow thereof, for a second classification in hydrocyclones, the undersize of the latter is sent for additional grinding with the undersize of the first classification in hydrocyclones. The overflow is separated using wet magnetic separation into a non-magnetic fraction going into tailings and into a magnetic fraction, wherein said fraction is subjected to a first primary flotation and a chamber product is isolated thereon - concentrate 1, foam product 1 goes into tailings and foam product 2 supplied for a first control flotation and therein divided into a chamber product and foam product going into tailings. The combined undersize products of fine hydraulic screen sizing operations are divided by wet magnetic separation into a non-magnetic fraction going into the overflow of the first classification in hydrocyclones, and a magnetic fraction, wherein said fraction is subjected to a second primary flotation and a chamber product and foam product are isolated thereon, the latter is supplied for a second control flotation wherein the foam product thereof goes into tailings and the chamber product is combined with the chamber products of the second main and first control flotation - concentrate 2 is obtained.

EFFECT: production of high-quality magnetite concentrates from difficult to process ore with a high content of magnetite.
