FIELD: mechanical engineering; transportation of flat articles. SUBSTANCE: purpose of invention is to direct lower edge of flat article transported by conveyor in hanging state, such as low-rigidity printed matter transported at such a speed that they are deflected from vertical position by resistance of air, in definite point on their way into narrow limited compartment of machining drum. For this purpose guide members are brought from top into transported material flow to bring printed matter at take-in section into preset position. Guide members are brought out of printed matter upwards through following brought-out section. Device consists of endless chains moving at side of printed matter flow on sprockets with guide members arranged at different distances from each other.
