FIELD: food and wine-making industry. SUBSTANCE: the parent alcohol is a spirituous solution consisting of the blend mixture of any ethyl rectified alcohol, water and unmatured cognac alcohol. Strong of blend mixture is 40-70% and content of inert substances - 0.7 g/100 ml. Blend mixture is matured by its infusing with oak extract up to accumulation of extractive and aromatic matters 0.1-0.8 g/l. Blend liquid is removed from the precipitate and used or stored (involving maturation) for cognac-like drink making. EFFECT: improved method of maturation. 1 tbl
