FIELD: railway and industrial transport; devices to control speed of cuts on marshalling humps. SUBSTANCE: device has turnable brake rockers with resilient members arranged along rails outwards the track in form of keyboard. Resilient members of brake rockers are made in the form of common unit installed on support beam hinge-connected with common rod of rockers and furnished with power drive to set device is brake applied and brake released positions. In brake applied position rockers are standing proud over the rail and vehicle wheel, running onto ends of rockers and compressing resilient members, create braking effect which is increased owing to the fact that rockers are relatively held behind the wheel by projections, thus preventing forward driving moments. Device has guide counterrail to provide reliable contact between vehicle wheels and device brake rockers when brakes are applied. EFFECT: improved reliability and safety at marshalling. 3 cl, 3 dwg
