FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: key-type carriage decelerator-accelerator comprises braking rotary keys with a hollow flexible element arranged on fixed support beam and along the rail and outside track, representing a keyboard with fast-operation valve units connecting flexible elements cavities with control hardware. Key-type braking devices are mounted on both rails of the track. One of them accommodates the device with rotary mutually engaging keys to generate braking force for rolling stock, while the other one accommodates the device with rotary mutually engaging keys to generate accelerating force for rolling stock.
EFFECT: economic operation and higher efficiency of sorting operations.
