FIELD: mechanical engineering; multiple cylinder diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has intake device consisting of receiver with separate intake pipes connected with cylinder, head, and air cleaner. Pipes are placed in communication with separate cylinders by means of intake valves. Spaces of receiver and air cleaner communicate air- conducting connecting pipe made of permeable to gas porous metal, for instance, porous gauze material, rubberized metal, etc. Intake device proper is acoustically tuned structure.
