FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed equipment incorporates circular-symmetric float element 1 in the form of hollow toroid connected to cylindrical knife shut-off device 2 which upper circular edge is joined to cone-shaped funnel 3 passing into thin clear tube 4. Tube 4 has hole 5 in side wall and is fitted with rotary head 6 tightly put on its upper end. Rotary head has radial holes 7 and 8 in its side wall. Hole 8 of head 6 is connected to inlet of elastic bottle 9. Invention provides for realization of reliable timely profile test of floating liquid films and spots both under laboratory and unstationary conditions of operational testing conducted close to examined ecological or industrial object.
