FIELD: cleaning of air fed to internal combustion engine; ecology for purification of air of dust and aerosols. SUBSTANCE: device has inner and outer perforated cylinders with filter material laid between with circular grooves and three circular projections. Inner and outer circular projections are made in form of shaft and are located above respective perforated cylinders; center circular projection has section in form of triangle inclined towards outer perforated cylinder at angle of 25 to 60 deg and located at distance of 0.15 to 0.25 of width of end plate from its inner edge; filter material is made in form of corrugated curtain introduced in end plates together with perforated cylinders. Filter element excludes suction of non-purified air into engine, thus enhancing reliability of filter and increasing service life of engine. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of filter and increased service life of engine. 2 dwg
