FIELD: transport engineering; brakes. SUBSTANCE: device has spring loaded hinged lever 1 furnished with end piece with tenon 11 and lock 2 to hold lever in transportation position coupled by means of drive 4 with control unit 5 arranged in vehicle cab. Box 6 with stationary mounted members deformable at operation of device is rigidly secured along bottom of vehicle body. Freely fitted bar is arranged in box 6 across the box at its from end. End piece of hinged lever 1 is made in form of plate rigidly coupled with lever 1 and provided with pyrotechnical cartridge. Cartridge primer is connected with electric pickup operating when plate comes in contact with road. Output end of primer is furnished with detachable plate with hole for tenon 11 which is arranged inside pyrotechnical cartridge before operation of device. Detachable plate is coupled with freely fitted bar by means of metal wire rope 14 rigidly secured on plate and bar. EFFECT: improved reliability of braking in case of emergency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
