FIELD: medicine, virology. SUBSTANCE: virus Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis cm - 27 ГКВ N 684 is cultured, inactivated with formalin and heat, concentrated and purified by methods of differential and zonal centrifugation. Ready vaccine is sterile, concentrated and purified virion suspension (40-55 mcg/ml) in saline solution (0.14-0.15 NaCl) buffered with tris-buffer (0.01-0.013 M), pH = 7.8-7.9, and containing 0.04-0.05% human albumin as stabilizing agent. Preparation is sorbed on aluminium hydroxide. Vaccine is harmless, nonreactive and nontoxic. Minimal immunizing dose of preparation for white mice does not exceed 0.01 ml. Seroconversion is 98%, not less. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, enhanced effectiveness. 3 tbl
