FIELD: pulp and paper industry; transportation of fibrous pulp containing large amount of air and gas via pipe and evacuation of gas from pulp. SUBSTANCE: gas discharge passage of centrifugal pump is provided with device for protecting it against chocking which is made in form of two members one of which is movable relative to other one.
