FIELD: methods and plants for heat treatment of lime slime. SUBSTANCE: lime slime is supplied to feeder of plant for heat treatment, saturated with finely divided fraction through sluice feeder, moved with concurrent grinding by blades of disintegrating worm to drying chamber where it is subjected to intensive drying in flow of hot gases with grinding, granulation and sizing through perforated sieve. Finely divided fraction of slime is carried away by hot gases flow to drying main line and is supplied through cyclone and sluice feeder to initial product. Conditioned fraction of slime passing through sieve enters supplying device and is supplied for calcination to furnace by supplying device blades. Slime lumps which do not pass the sieve are discharged to channel. Conditions of drying, grinding, sizing of lime slime effected in drying chamber, additional section of disintegrating worm and pneumatic drying main line, are regulated by redistribution of hot gases flow from furnace by means of bypass pipelines with variation of rotation speed of disintegrating worm and feed worm. EFFECT: higher efficiency in utilization of energy of furnace gases. 2 cl, 2 dwg
