FIELD: microelectronics. SUBSTANCE: corresponding device has delay system and N bearing dielectric rods with film local absorbers. Method involves measuring absorbing characteristics of microwave power by film local absorber and detection of quality of bearing dielectric rod by model which has delay system with N-1 bearing rods which is located in cylindrical case with through longitudinal slot in which tested rod is inserted and fixed by knife-shaped clamp. Rod coaxial probe is inserted in transmission channel of delay system through central hole in centering sleeve. Relative amplitude level and signal phase are measured in different points of delay system. Quality of local absorber is judged by equality of signal attenuation, length of additional losses part and phase shift along rod length to required characteristics.
