FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines for small size farm power tools with starting device providing easy starting by decompression of cylinder. SUBSTANCE: two stroke internal combustion engine has crankshaft installed in engine housing, cable starting device with coupling member engaging with crankshaft speed-up drive member and transmitting effort from starting cable wound around coupling member, decompression mechanism mechanically coupled through pull member with coupling member. Mechanical coupling is made in form of contact arranged on coupling member for engagement with stop when decompression mechanism is closed. Stop is spring-loaded in cross plane relative to coupling member. Pusher is included into mechanical coupling for cross displacement through stop and is coupled with pull member in axial direction. EFFECT: improved reliability of engine starting, reduced efforts for cranking the engine by starting device. 5 dwg
