SUBSTANCE: proposed shock absorber provides automatic two-stage variation of rigidly of damping characteristic depending on vibration frequency of spring mass and acceleration and amplitude of vibrations of unsprung mass owing to new operating cycle of unit increasing efficiency of body vibration damping in low frequency resonance zone and vibrations of wheels at high accelerations directed upwards and large values of high frequency amplitudes.
