FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear transmission has two axially alined driving gears provided with end face teeth made up as an Archimedian spirals wound in opposite directions. The teeth are kinematically connected with the driving member through two intermediate gear wheels. The wheels are mounted for permitting screw motion on the coaxial shafts that are perpendicular to the driving wheels. The width of the intermediate wheels is half pitch of the spiral turn.
