FIELD: machine manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is applicable in machine manufacturing and is meant for smooth control of linear and rotational speeds, strains and moments. The gear regulator contains a primary gear (1) with teeth executed in parallel on the frontal face, the driven gear (2) in the form of a wheel with parallel axes along the outer radius and face end teeth, case (3) or a pivoting fixture with connected links for putting wheels, intermittent gear (5). The case or the pivoting fixture with the driven gear through the link is capable of being fixed and radial in relation to the axes of the primary gear. The driving (1) and the driven (2) gears can be in the form of disks. Selection of the rotation from the driven wheel (2) is carried out with the intermediate gear (5), which has a width enabling gripping of teeth of the driven gear in the whole range of its movement and rotation.
EFFECT: raising the maximum permissible torque, degree of efficiency, service life and reliability of the regulator.
