FIELD: radio engineering; microwave power amplifiers. SUBSTANCE: amplifier has power splitter and power adder made in the form of quadrature eight-terminal bridge, two amplifier stages, and band filter. Inputs of amplifier stages are connected to first and second outputs of power splitter, respectively; outputs are connected, respectively, to first and second inputs of adder. First input of power splitter functions as input of balanced amplifier. Band filter is connected between first output of adder and second input of power splitter. Second output of adder functions as balanced amplifier output. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
