FIELD: nitric acid production. SUBSTANCE: plant consists of rectification column and a series of successively arranged apparatuses combined into one upright column: inlet box, bleaching column, and condenser-cooler for nitrogen acid vapors. Inlet box is connected with rectification column and concentrated nitrogen acid cooler, and condenser-cooler with nitrous gas blower. Concentrated nitrogen acid cooler is constructed in the form of a separate module attached to lower part of inlet box and provided with pipeline with hydraulic gate shaped as reverse loop disposed at a height of maximum level of liquid in cooler. EFFECT: decreased dimension of plant and minimized pollution of air with gas. 1 dwg
