FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes polycyclic guanine derivatives of general formulae I: $$$ and $$$ wherein. J is oxygen or sulfur; $$$ hydrogen, alkyl unsubstituted or substituted with aryl or hydroxy; $$$ is hydrogen, aryl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted with aryl, heteroaryl, hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, monoalkylamino-or dialkylamino. $$$ wherein m is integer of 1-6; T is oxygen or -NH-, and $$$ is hydrogen, aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl unsubstituted or substituted with aryl or heteroaryl; $$$ is hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aminosufonyl, amino, monoalkylamino, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, alkyl substituted with aryl, hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino; $$$ are independently hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl and aryl, or ($$$) or ($$$) or ($$$) and saturated ring having 5-7 carbon atoms or ($$$) and ($$$) together add one saturated ring containing 5-7 carbon atoms. Each ring contains sulfur or oxygen atom, and carbon atoms are substituted by at least one substituent from the group consisting of alkenyl, alkynyl, hydroxy, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, alkyl unsubstituted by hydroxy, carboxy or alkoxycarbonyl, or the saturated ring has two adjacent carbon atoms which are part of the ad joined aryl; n is 0 or 1. Said derivatives are used as antihypensive agent, muscle relaxation agent and bronchoenlarging agent. The claimed invention describes process for preparing polycyclic guanine derivatives of above-mentioned formulae I and ($$$) and pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one polycyclic guanine derivative of above-said formulae (I) and ($$$) in amount required for inhibiting phosphodiaster fro relaxation of smooth muscle to provide antihypertensive and bronchoenlarging activity.
