SUBSTANCE: invention relates to azethidinones of the formula (I) substituted with hydroxyl where Ar¹ and Ar² - aryl or aryl substituted with a residue R⁴; Ar³ - aryl substituted with a residue R⁵; R and R² are taken among the group including OR⁶,-O(CO)R⁶; R¹ and R³ are taken among the group including hydrogen atom and lower alkyl; q = 0 or 1; r = 0 or 1; m, n and p = 0-2; at least one of index q and r = 1 and the sum of indices m, n, p, q and r = 2 or 3; and if p = 0 and r = 1 then sum m, q and r = 2 or 3; R⁴ is taken among the group including halogen atom, -OR⁶,-O(CH₂)_1-5OR⁷; R⁵ is taken among the group including -OR⁶,-O(CO)R⁶, -(lower alkylene)-COOR⁸; R⁶,R⁷,R⁸ are taken among the group including hydrogen atom, lower alkyl that can be substituted with aryl.
