FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: method converts known transport engines into reverse intracascade-action cooling machines with new principle of operation by use of reverse cooling cascade-action circuit with reverse compression cycle of cooling installations at second cascade. This circuit is enclosed inside engine housing. Invention provides separation of internal heat in housing, after combustion of fuel in 1st stage, and its useful operation in closed circuit enclosed inside housing till conversion. At least 43% of heat of all fuel combusted in cylinders in 1st cascade is utilized. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities; reliable replacement of transport engines. 6 cl, 1 dwg
