FIELD: analytical instrument engineering, applicable in development of measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in generation of modulated synchronizing signals and analytical signals, at least one of which is passed through the specimen, measurement of the phase shift relative to the synchronizing signal, by which the parameters of the object under test are judged; modulation of signals is accomplished by the harmonic law, providing for a phase shift by a value not equal to $$$, at least for a pair of analytical signals, where n-arbitrary integer, and summation of analytical signals is accomplished before measurement of the phase shift.
