FIELD: sorting of agricultural and other products with small difference in density. SUBSTANCE: device has facility for creating flow of separating medium continuously flowing from its inlet end towards outlet ends and formed of substance having uniform density which is higher than maximal density of particles subject to separation. Device is also provided with facility for passing air upwards through aforesaid substance for creation of dividing medium, also with facility for delivery of mixture of particles to inlet end of facility for creating flow of separating medium to predetermined depth so as to ensure possibility of floating-up of particles in process of their movement in separating medium, and also with facility for discharge of separation products. Facility for delivery of mixture of particles is adapted to changing delivery depth, and facility for discharge of separation products is adapted to separate removal of certain groups of floated up products. Facility is provided with throttle unit to help collection and separation of groups when particles reach top level of dividing medium flow. Device has facility for recirculation of dividing medium substance from inlet end to outlet end of trough, and facility for passing air flow upwards is provided with unit for controlling speed at which gas is passing through dividing medium so as to maintain its uniform density.
