FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; applicable in continuous processing of mixed oxide-sulfide copper raw materials. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes production of copper sulfide concentrate which is mixed with solid carbon- containing reducing agent with carbon consumption equalling, at least, 1.2 of the needed stoichiometric quantity. Added to mixture is calcium flux to obtain total oxides of calcium, sodium and potassium-to-silicon dioxide ration equalling, at least, 1.2. Obtained mixture is calcinated at 800-1000 C.
